There are so many activities and trips that Middlesex puts on to stop us from getting homesick! There is loads of support offered by the university, and my subject - Television journalism is so exciting! Middlesex is a great university really worth it!
After only two weeks into my television journalism degree I was already learning many creative and practical skills for a media career. I secured a presenting role on a popular show called Study Overseas that is broadcast on one of Vietnams main channels VTCV1. It discusses topics like money matters and careers, focuses on particular countries and interviews students, staff and graduates from universities overseas. The course was really good and the lecturers were really helpful.
I joined Middlesex in 2006 on a pre-sessional English course, more than just learning English - but a unique chance to acclimatise to university and student life. I will continue to film one-off episodes for the network. I love the environment and facilities at our Trent Park campus and am keen to meet more people.
Many other Vietnamese students here study business and finance but television is exciting and creative. In the future, I want to continue my television career in Vietnam.
